commuity service hours for high school students

Community service hours has been done by most of the high school students nowadays as there is a volunteerism in doing this service by many of them. There many reasons for this volunteerism by the high school students. One of them is to mention more non-academic activities in their high school resume as these kind of services are considered and noticed by the college admissions personnel. But, there are some high schools in United States Of America, who make this service as compulsory to get the high school completion certificate. In these schools, students will be provided the number of community service hours which they are supposed to do, based on which their high school completion certificate will be issued. By making the teenage students work on community service, they would be able to solve difficult problems, to build healthy relationships and strengthen communities. Also, these kind of service would definitely help them build self-motivation, confidence among themselves and make them service-minded in future through which the level of violence could be controlled. I would suggest this community service hours to all the high school students as helping each others is humane and it is the basic nature of all the human beings in this world.
